Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe (born in America) is the country music and pop singer. The album Satisfied came out in 2007. She was a part of the Pistol Annies band with Angaleena Lambert and Miranda Lambert. Her second album, Like a Rose (2013) is her follow-up. Ashley Monroe singing with Blake Shelton in 2015. The singer-songwriter released The Blade, an album that earned her acclaim. Ashley Monroe works as the assistant village manager for Riverside Illinois. With over 15 years experience, she has worked in various positions within the public sector, including five years spent in the Iowa City deputy City Manager post. As Assistant Village Manager, her current duties include managing the Community Development and Building Department as well as completing various projects. As a part of Riverside Ashley supports everyday operations of village services and working towards the vision for strategic planning of the elected officials and the residents. Ashley's prior roles have included city planning and government communications budgeting personnel management and collective bargaining, with a focus on climate action initiatives. Ashley's engagement with national organisations and work within communities with various populations has provided her with insights into how organizations with all sizes operate. Ashley's education focuses on the latest approaches to management and leadership within the public sector, from a perspective of an experienced professional.
